India one draw away from qualifying for WTC final

India beat England by 10 wickets on an extraordinary second day of the only day-night Test of the series at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Motera. The hosts thus took a 2-1 lead in the four-match series and propelled themselves to the top of the WTC standings with 71 percentage points while England dropped to fourth with 64.1 percentage points.
Hoffenheim, Leverkusen eliminated from Europa League

Both Hoffenheim and Bayer Leverkusen were eliminated from the UEFA Europa League in the last-32. Eirik Ulland Andersen scored twice to help Molde beat Hoffenheim 2-0 (5-3 on aggregate), and Young Boys Bern upset Leverkusen 2-0 (6-3 on aggregate) on Thursday.

India had earlier lost Shubman Gill and Cheteshwar Pujara early, both falling within six balls.

The stadium is located within the larger Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Sports Enclave which will have facilities for Olympic sports.
