T20 World Cup: ICC gives India a month, eyes options in west Asia

The governing body of cricket, however, confirmed that the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) will remain host of the tournament, to be held in October-November, even it is shifted outside India. The ICC Board has also asked its management to begin planning the tournament in UAE and look for another venue in west Asia.

Naomi on Monday withdrew from the French Open over her stand to not speak to the media due to her mental health. "Without the media, there isn't any prize money, there isn't any contracts. ICC re-introduces Champions Trophy, adds teams to men's World Cups

The 50-over World Cup will become a 14-team, 54-match event in 2027 and 2031, whilst the men's T20 World Cup will be expanded to a 20-team, 55-match event in 2024, 2026, 2028 and 2030, the ICC announced after its Board meeting. An eight-team Champions Trophy will be played in 2025 and 2029. The ICC World Test Championship finals will be hosted in 2025, 2027, 2029, and 2031.
Real Madrid appoint Carlo Ancelotti as head coach

Ancelotti dramatically jumped to the front of the queue for the job when it seemed former Real striker, Raul, and Argentina's Mauricio Pochettino were the main contenders, reports DPA. India cricketers set to tour England with families

The Indian team departs for England late Wednesday night, on June 3 -- for a three-and-a-half month-long tour that comprises World Test Championship (WTC) final against New Zealand next month as well as five Test matches against England in August-September. The men's team will travel with India women's team on a charter flight but it is unlikely that women players will travel with families mainly because the tour is short.
Trent Boult to miss both England Tests, to play only WTC final vs India

"I don't think you will see Trent [Boult] in the two-Test matches here," said NZ coach Gary Stead while speaking to media ahead of the first Test. "He arrives on Friday and our planning and what we are looking at doing with Trent is having him ready for the World Test Championship final," added Stead.
