Saina tests positive for Covid, withdraws from Thailand Open: report

According to reports, Saina returned positive in her third round of Covid-19 test on Monday. She was slated to take on Kisona Selvaduray of Malaysia in her opening round contest on Tuesday. While the news of her positive Covid-19 test has not been confirmed by the BWF, the official website of the Badminton World Federation did show the walkover result.

Paine said that Smith was disappointed at the way his act was portrayed. On Monday, the stump vision camera caught the Aussie batsman at the crease trying to wipe off Pant's batting guard with his shoes. "I have spoken to Steve about this and I know he is really disappointed with the way it has come across," said Paine said in an impromptu virtual press conference on Tuesday.
