"It is with great sadness that I'm announcing my withdrawal from The Championships as my calf injury has not fully recovered," Simona said on the Wimbledon website. The 29-year-old world No.3player, who won the Wimbledon in 2019 -- the event was cancelled in 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic -- suffered a tear in her left calf during her second-round match against Germany's Angelique Kerber at the Italian Open in Rome in mid-May.
India to have camp, intra-squad games in Durham from July 15

"As far as the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) are concerned, their schedule remains the same.
