Italy beat England in penalties to win Euro 2020

Italy had won their first Euro title in 1968 and they won their second one when goalkeeper Donnarumma blocked a poor effort by 19-year-old Bukayo Saka of England, after Jorginho had missed the last Italian kick, to win the penalty shoot out 3-2 after both teams were deadlocked 1-1 after 120 minutes of action. Playing in front of 60,000 fans despite the pandemic.
India Women beat England in second T20I

Asked to bat first by the hosts, India women posted 148 for four wickets in their 20 overs thanks to a 38-ball 48 by opener Shafali Verma. Skipper Harmanpreet Kaur blasted a 25-ball 31. They then restricted the home team to 140 for eight in their allotted overs with Poonam Yadav taking two wickets for 17 runs off her four overs.

England have lot to do in Euro final vs Italy

However, he regrouped himself and won the next two games to pocket the first set. He again raced through the second set, breaking his opponent's serve in the sixth game to take 4-2 lead. Argentina deserving Copa champions: Brazil's Thiago Silva

"We have to congratulate our opponents," Silva told a local television channel after the match at the Maracana Stadium. "Argentina neutralised our players and it was very difficult to come back after going a goal down." The 36-year-old added: "We weren't able to play the way we wanted to in the first half and in the second they defended very well. We tried our best but things didn't go our way."
