Khel Ratna 2021: Two Paralympians from Rajasthan among 11 nominee

The other nine nominees are Neeraj Chopra, Ravi Dahiya, PR Sreejesh, Lovlina Borgohain, Sunil Chettri, Mithali Raj, Pramod Bhagat, Sumit Antil, and Manish Narwal. The Rajasthan-based Paralympians won gold medals for India in the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games held recently. Avani had won two medals in shooting while Nagger bagged gold in the badminton SH6 category.

"FC Barcelona have tonight sacked Ronald Koeman as first team coach. Club President Joan Laporta informed him following the defeat to Rayo Vallecano. Ronald Koeman has said goodbye to the squad tonight," read a club statement issued shortly after midnight. Speaking after the defeat, Koeman commented, "Other teams could have more balanced squads, but we have shown that we can compete with them."

The world No 10 pair of Chirag Shetty and Satwiksairaj Rankireddy also progressed to the men's doubles round of 16 after beating Lee Jhe-Huei and Yang Po-Hsuan 18-21, 21-17, 21-13.

This was England's second successive victory in the Super 12s of the tournament and they moved to the top of the points table in Group 1. England's bowlers - Tymal Mills (3/27), Liam Livingstone (2/15) and Moeen Ali (2/18) produced their second clinical performance of the tournament and restricted Bangladesh to 124/9 in 20 overs. Chasing a modest target for victory, openers Jason Roy and Jos Buttler gave England a flying start, scoring 50-1 in the powerplay.
