Former world No 1 Osaka drops out of top 10 in latest WTA Rankings

Naomi, 23, dropped from 7 to 12th position, ending her streak of 140 consecutive weeks in the Top 10, a streak that started on September 17, 2018. The Japanese player, earlier this year, had pulled out of the French Open and Wimbledon citing mental health concerns, and had taken an indefinite break from tennis after her loss at the US open.
