China releases video of missing tennis star Peng Shuai attending tournament, IOC confirms talks with her
Hu Xijin, editor-in-chief of state-run newspaper Global Times had released footage of Peng on Twitter which showed her attending her fans in the tennis court on Sunday. Hu has shared several footages of the Peng Shaui from the tournament. “Peng Shuai showed up at the opening ceremony of a teenager tennis match final in Beijing on Sunday morning,” he tweeted with yet another clipping.

Marco Asensio, Nacho Fernandez, Vinicius Junior and Ferland Mendy scored a goal each for Real Madrid while forward Luis Suárez scored the lone goal for Granada. It was a very good performance by Los Blancos as they picked up all three points at Los Carmenes, and moved up the top of the table. Suarez scored for Granada and made things interesting at 2-1, but Los Blancos reasserted their control after Vinicius' goal.
ATP Finals: Alexander Zverev beats Daniil Medvedev to win title
The German defeated World No. 1, Novak Djokovic, in the semi-finals and backed that up against World No. 2 Medvedev, capitalising on his powerful game to secure victory in 75 minutes. With his victory, Zverev became just the fourth player in the tournament's history to earn semi-final and final wins over the top two players in the ATP Rankings. The World No. 3 fired seven aces, hit 22 winners, and did not face a breakpoint in his statement win over the Russian. It was Zverev's second ATP Finals title and he ended his standout 2021 season in style in Turin.

Rohit Sharma's fantastic fifty and a clinical bowling performance led by Axar Patel (3/9), powered India to a convincing 73-run win over New Zealand in the third and final T20I, helping the hosts complete a 3-0 clean sweep in the three-match series at the iconic Eden Gardens on Sunday. Speaking after the win, Team India head coach said New Zealand had arrived in India immediately after a World Cup final loss and it wasn't easy for the visitors to play back-to-back matches.
3rd T20I: Rohit Sharma, bowlers lead India to 3-0 sweep against New Zealand
This was India's second-successive clean sweep victory against New Zealand in a T20I series, having registered a 5-0 win over the Kiwis at their own turf in January 2020. It was also the first series win for Sharma as full-time skipper and newly appointed head coach Rahul Dravid and they passed the test with flying colors. "I think American people are starting to play ping pong more than before," said club owner Dylan Nguyen. "We have exactly 12 tables right now and are looking into increasing by eight more tables during the first quarter of 2022."
