Frustrated with elbow injury, Kane Williamson says 'cut it off'
The Blackcaps recently announced a new-look 15-member squad for the opening Test against South Africa beginning February 17, with Williamson missing again due to the elbow injury. The injury has prevented Williamson from playing international cricket since December 2021, and while there were reports that he would lead the side against the Proteas, reports say he is still a few weeks away from complete recovery.

Guman Singh was the star for the winning Patna side as the raider scored 13 points for the team. The table-toppers Pirates were made to sweat for their points in the first half by a resilient Pune side, but they switched gears in the second to decimate the men in orange. Aslam Inamdar scored 9 points for coach Anup Kumar's Pune, but all his points came in the first half.
