In a fantastic thriller, Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) on Tuesday defeated Lucknow Super Giants  (LSG) by 18 runs. RCB skipper Faf du Plessis missed his century just by four runs. It was RCB's fifth win in the ongoing IPL season.

As of Tuesday night local time, doctors made a successful move, with no evidence of brain damage, according to Campbell's brother Mark who spoke on Perth radio, reported ICC. "They've taken the heavy sedation off, so he's actually woken up. Now they're just looking at trying to work out what's wrong with his heart," Mark Campbell said.

At 44/3 after 5.2 overs, RCB were in a spot of bother but du Plessis took on the mantle of batting through the innings.

He stitched a crucial 70-run stand for the fifth wicket with Shahbaz Ahmed (26) and a 49-run partnership with Dinesh Karthik (13 not out off 8) for the sixth wicket, helping RCB post a competitive total in stipulated 20 overs.
