'Never seen such an Indian fast bowling line-up': Inzamam-ul-Haq commends Team India's pacers for their aggressive attitude

On Saturday, the Indian pace trio of Bumrah, Shami, Shardul Thakur, and Mohammad Siraj ripped through the English batting order in the second innings of the first Test at Nottingham. No other batsman could endure longer against India's powerful bowling attack than home skipper Joe Root, who struck 109 from 172 deliveries. As a result, England was bowled out for 303, and the visitors set a goal of 209.

Bumrah took five wickets after taking four in the first innings, while Siraj and Shardul Thakur each took two. India have lost a wicket in their pursuit of a 209-run goal, KL Rahul (26), and will restart their chase at 52/1 with Rohit Sharma (12*) and Cheteshwar Pujara (12*) at the crease. They need 157 more points to win.

In his Youtube video, Inzamam emphasized on the fact that In the past, Team India has produced some really strong fast bowlers. However, the modern Indian pacers have the aggressiveness of true fast bowlers. Such performances are unavoidable when you have aggressive pacers,  he continued.

The Pakistani stalwart, who was a nightmare for opposition bowlers in his time can’t hold himself from saying that On the first day, Team India set the tone for the series with their quick bowling. They immediately put England on the back foot. Subcontinent bowlers sometimes struggle in the first Test because the lines to be bowled in England change, quoted Inzimam in his latest video.
