IPL 2022, Day 37 Highlights: Lucknow Super Giants beat Delhi Capitals by 6 runs; Chennai Super Kings beat Sunrisers Hyderabad by 13 runs

Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) defeated Delhi Capitals (DC) by 6 runs and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) by 13 runs. MS Dhoni was back as the captain of CSK. Ruturaj Gaikwad made 99 runs off 57. He missed his well-deserved 100 just by 1 run. 

On a Super Sunday, we witnessed both nail-biting and high-scoring thrillers. Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) defeated Delhi Capitals (DC) by 6 runs and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) by 13 runs. MS Dhoni was back as the captain of CSK. 1. LSG won the toss and elected to bat first against DC

2.  LSG openers started well, however they lost the wicket of Quinton De Kock (23 runs off 13) in the powerplay.

3. After the fall of his wicket, skipper KL Rahul and Deepak Hooda stayed and built a sensational 95 runs partnership. Deepak Hooda made 52 runs off 34 and KL Rahul made 77 runs off 51.

4. LSG managed to score 195/3 in their 20 over.

6. Replying to LSG total, DC openers David Warner and Prithvi Shaw lost their wickets early. After the fall of their wickets, Mitchell Marsh and Skipper Rishabh Pant attacked and made a quick 60 runs partnership.

7. After the fall of their wickets, DC started struggling but they never quit. Rovman Powell and Axar Patel took the match too close.

2.  CSK openers started dominating and built a brilliant 182 runs partnership. Ruturaj Gaikwad made 99 runs off 57. He missed his well-deserved 100 just by 1 run.

3. After the fall of his wicket, skipper MS Dhoni came at no.3, however, he didn't have much time to settle. Dhoni made 8 runs off 7 and Devon Conway made an unbeaten 85 runs off 55. 
 

4. CSK managed to score 202/2 in their 20 over.

6. Replying to CSK total, SRH openers Kane Williamson and Abhishek Sharma built a fine 58 runs off the opening partnership. However, after the fall of Abhishek Sharma's wicket (39 runs off 24), SRH lost wickets at the regular intervals.
 

7. Nicholas Pooran stayed and made 64 runs off 33, but he was alone and late.
