In a low-scoring thriller, Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) on Thursday beat Delhi Capitals (DC) by 6 wickets. In that match, batsmen were finding it difficult to score runs. However, both of the teams showed their ability and fighting spirit by never quitting till the end. Here are the key highlights of the game:
1. LSG won the toss and elected to bowl first against DC.
2. All the IPL fans waited for David Warner, but Prithvi Shaw overshadowed Warner and smashed the bowlers. He made 61 runs off 34 deliveries. He contributed 61 runs in 67 runs of opening partnership with David Warner. After the fall of his wicket, Warner also lost his wicket too in a single-digit run.
3. Lucknow Super Giants produced a great bowling performance and DC batters struggled against them.

4. However, with the help of Rishabh Pant's 39 runs off 36 deliveries and Sarfaraz Khan's 36 runs off 28 deliveries. DC managed to score a challenging total of 149/3.
5. Ravi Bishnoi was the star bowler for LSG as he took 2/22 in his 4 overs.
6. Replying to DC total, LSG hard-hitting openers KL Rahul and Quinton De Kock played very calmly and made 73 runs of opening partnership.

7. After the fall of KL Rahul's and Evin Lewis's wickets, De Kock stayed and made match-winning 80 runs off 52 deliveries.

8. Another incident happened in that match, DC bowler Anrich Nortje was delivered two waist-high no balls. He can't ball more in that match, according to the rules.
9. After the fall of De Kock's wicket, DC bowler Shardul Thakur tried hard to turn the match in the favour of DC. He took Hooda's wicket and put pressure on Krunal Pandya but young Ayush Badoni finished the match in the favour of LSG.
10. LSG chased the total and made 155/4 in 19.4 overs.
11. Quinton de Kock was declared the player of the match.
12. Brief scores: Delhi Capitals 149-3 in 20 overs (Prithvi Shaw 61, Rishabh Pant 39 not out; Ravi Bishnoi 2/22) lost to Lucknow Super Giants 155-4 in 19.4 overs (Quinton de Kock 80, K.L Rahul 24; Kuldeep Yadav (2/31) by 6 wickets.
