New Zealand, who arrived on the back of a 2-0 series defeat in Sri Lanka, will look to complete a series sweep through the third Test at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai starting from Friday.
"They're a bit shell-shocked. When we first came over, I think they had a slogan on TV saying five-nil for their home summer, or something along those lines. I'm pretty sure they wrote us off coming after Sri Lanka."
But they're pretty shocked in regards to what we've accomplished, and how we come out and compete and played some really good cricket against these guys - one of the best teams in the world. I think a little bit shell-shocked in terms of what's happened, Blundell said to SEN Radio.
He further added that after the Mumbai game, New Zealand will play three Test matches against England at home and said Blundell that the side will begin its home summer with happiness and pride on winning the Test series in India.
"You still have the World Test Championship on the line, and that is something that keeps you motivated as well. But it is going to be a challenge. India are probably hurting from this. But irrespective of the result, we can go home with a pretty big smile on our faces."
"What we have achieved here is pretty immense, it's probably one of the biggest highlights of my career. We are excited. We have a possibility of beating them 3-0. But regardless of that, we are pretty chuffed."
