The groupings remain unchanged from the initial plan, with the defending champions Australia grouped with India, New Zealand, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka. Group B will consist of South Africa, England, West Indies, Bangladesh, and Scotland.

Each team will play four matches in the group stage, with the top two teams from each group advancing to the semi-finals, which are scheduled for October 17 and 18. The final will be held in Dubai on October 20. Reserve days are set aside for both semi-finals and the final.

If India advances to the semi-finals, they will compete in the first semi-final. Sri Lanka and Scotland secured their spots in the tournament through the ICC Women's T20 World Cup Qualifier in Abu Dhabi earlier this year.

In the lead-up to the tournament, ten warm-up matches will be played from September 28 to October 1.
