Both the teams have made various changes in their line-ups. Indian team has made 4 changes in their playing 11 bringing in Shubman Gill, Kuldeep Yadav, Shardul Thakur for Mayank Agarwal, Navdeep Saini and Yuzvendra Chahal while T Natarajan makes ODI debut. Meanwhile Australia has made three changes bringing Ashton Agar and Sean Abbott for Mitchell Starc and Pat cummins while Cameron green will play his debut.

The Australian team made changes as David Warner suffered an injury during the second ODI that saw him leave the field mid- way. Meanwhile, Pat Cummins will also be given rest after the lengthy IPL campaign.

With Indian bowlers unable to penetrate the Australian batting line up, it remains the biggest issue of all. The Australian team scored 374 and 389 runs in the first two matches thrashing down the Indian bowlers. The Indian skipper made changes in order to test the bowlers for upcoming T20 series against Australia.

After suffering to take the lead in first two ODI matches, the Indian cricket team would look to do whatever it has in its power to salvage some pride with a win in the final match.
