The other solid contributors were Jemimah Rodrigues with 55 runs, while the captain, Harmanpreet Kaur, and Richa Ghosh remained unbeaten after securing respective half-centuries.

It was a dominance that began right on the first day, where they finished at 525 for four wickets. The record for the highest single day total in any women's Test match was also set here, bettering Sri Lanka's men's team 509 for 9 against Bangladesh back in 2002 in Colombo.
