Bumrah, whose exceptional spell of 6-45 contributed to India's crucial 171-run first-innings lead, continued his stellar performance with figures of 3-46 in the second innings. Bumrah's match figures of 9-91 marked the second-best performance by an Indian fast-bowler against England.
Ashwin's impressive bowling, with figures of 3-101, brought him to the cusp of a significant milestone, needing just one more wicket to reach 500 Test scalps. Axar Patel, Kuldeep Yadav, and Mukesh Kumar also chipped in with a wicket each.
The victory for India, following a 28-run defeat in Hyderabad, sets the stage for an exciting series decider at the SCA Stadium in Rajkot on February 15.
