The momentum intensified for India, with Rutaja adding another goal in the 9th minute, and Mumtaz Khan responding with back-to-back goals in the 10th and 11th minutes. The goal spree continued as Mariana Kujur scored twice in quick succession in the 13th and 14th minutes, concluding the first half with India leading 6-1.
