ICC Rankings Update: Keshav Maharaj Overtakes Siraj as No. 1 in ODI Bowling

In the latest ICC ODI bowler's rankings, Keshav Maharaj, the left-arm spinner from South Africa, has surged to the top position, displacing the previous No. 1, Mohammed Siraj.

This shift is a result of Maharaj's stellar performance in the recent matches, where he claimed seven wickets in three games, including a four-wicket haul against New Zealand in Pune.

During the ongoing ICC ODI World Cup, Maharaj has showcased exceptional bowling prowess, securing 14 wickets in nine matches with an impressive economy rate of 4.37. On the other hand, Siraj, with 12 wickets from nine games, is closely trailing Maharaj with a mere three rating points difference.

The Top 5 ODI bowlers include Jasprit Bumrah and Kuldeep Yadav, emphasizing India's strong presence in the bowling rankings. Meanwhile, Glenn Maxwell's phenomenal innings of 201* off 128 balls against Afghanistan has propelled him 17 spots higher in the batting charts and elevated his position in the all-rounders' rankings.

Shreyas Iyer and KL Rahul have also made significant strides in the rankings, courtesy of their exceptional centuries against Netherlands. Iyer climbed five spots to share the 13th position with Fakhar Zaman, while KL Rahul jumped from 24th to 17th.
