Formula 1: Max Verstappen wins World championship in Abu Dhabi

Max Verstappen emerged the winner of Abu Dhabi Grand Prix and won the Formula One world championship title for Red Bull, after knocking Lewis Hamilton out on Sunday. He is the first Dutch driver to win the Formula 1 race. While seven times champion Hamilton came second.

1. Dutch driver Max Verstappen won the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, defeating Mercedes' Lewis Hamilton on the last lap in Abu Dhabi on Sunday. Hamilton finished second in the race, and Valtteri Bottas finished sixth.

2. However, Mercedes grabbed a record eighth consecutive constructors' championship.

3. On Verstappen's victory, he exclaimed "Oh my God!" over his radio. While Red Bull boss Christian Horner screamed "You are the world champion! The world champion!." "Let's do this for another 10 or 15 years!" Verstappen replied.

4. While Mercedes had won 7 championships consecutively, Red Bull won its first F1 title since 2013.
