The 36-year-old Serbian further solidified his status as the oldest player in ATP Rankings history to secure the year-end No. 1 spot. Djokovic previously achieved this feat at the age of 34, and he surpassed his own record by accomplishing it again at the age of 36.

With eight year-end No. 1 finishes, Djokovic surpasses Pete Sampras, who holds second place on the historic list with six year-end No. 1 campaigns. Djokovic's remarkable consistency and dominance in the sport are evident with this achievement, securing the honor in eight of the last 13 seasons.

Additionally, he won in Cincinnati and Paris, adding two more ATP Masters 1000 trophies to his illustrious collection.
