Acknowledging the tough and hostile environment in Ahmedabad, Arthur praised the Pakistani players for not complaining and giving their best despite the lack of visible support. He stated, "Nevertheless, it ultimately does play a role in motivation when you can’t see or hear that support base around you."

Arthur attributed the outside noise and unwarranted controversies on social media as factors affecting Pakistan's campaign in the ODI World Cup. He remarked, "The outside noise with Pakistan is incredible; you just have to check your Twitter feed to see so many fires that are ignited out there, that have absolutely no truth attached to them."

Reflecting on his role with the Pakistan team while also managing English county Derbyshire, Arthur clarified that he was not an "online coach." He emphasized his constant communication with the coaching staff and his commitment to the team's game plan and defined player roles.

Expressing trust in Najam Sethi, Arthur highlighted their strong relationship and the opportunity Sethi provided him to return to international cricket after being sacked by Australia. Arthur's return was driven by his desire to work with Sethi again, showcasing their mutual respect and collaboration.
