Trisha Gongadi played a pivotal role in India's dominant performance to retain their U19 Women's T20 World Cup title, guiding the team to a nine-wicket victory over South Africa in the final at Bayuemas Oval.

India's bowlers, led by the spinners, were in exceptional form, taking nine wickets, with Trisha herself claiming 3 for 15. The fielding was also on point, as they restricted South Africa to just 82 runs on a slow pitch.

In the chase, Trisha was the standout performer, scoring 44 not out off 33 balls, while Sanika Chalke contributed with an unbeaten 26 off 22 balls. The two comfortably guided India to the target in just 11.2 overs, showcasing their dominance. India's comprehensive win secured them their second consecutive U19 Women's T20 World Cup title, and they became the first team to win the title without losing a single game.

South Africa, despite a resilient effort from Mieke van Voorst (23) and Fay Cowling (15), struggled to score against India's spinners. Trisha's all-round brilliance, along with crucial contributions from Parunika Sisodia (2-6), set the foundation for India's victory.
