Social media influencer and a dancer, Danashree Verma is ecstatic that her husband, cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal, has made it to the Indian squad for the World Cup in T20.
Sharing a picture of a billboard showcasing the players of Team India's T20 squad, she posted on her Instagram Stories on Tuesday. Captioning the picture, she wrote, “come on. @yuzi_chahal23 He is back”
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Tuesday announced the 15-member squad of Team India for the upcoming ICC Men's T20 World Cup.
The team will be led by the experienced and talented opener Rohit Sharma, who will be the captain of the team, with his Mumbai Indians mate Hardik Pandya being his vice-cap.
Yuzvendra Chahal's inclusion in the squad is a boon for Team India as the latter has a penchant for picking up crucial wickets in the middle overs that will strengthen India's bowling lineup.
The Indian squad has the likes of Yashasvi Jaiswal, Virat Kohli, Suryakumar Yadav, Rishabh Pant, and Sanju Samson. In addition to the above, the squad includes Shivam Dube, Ravindra Jadeja, Axar Patel, Kuldeep Yadav, Arshdeep Singh, Jasprit Bumrah, and Mohd. Siraj.
The tournament will be jointly hosted by the USA and West Indies from June 2.
