The European Space Agency (ESA) has signed a 86-million-euros (approximately $103 million) contract with an industrial team led by the Swiss startup ClearSpace SA for safe removal of an inactive object from low Earth orbit.
The study group included 339 patients, average age of 72 years, from the Alzheimer's Disease Neuroimaging Initiative 2 cohort. Each person had a baseline diagnosis of mild cognitive impairment; 72 progressed to Alzheimer's disease while 267 remained stable.
The study, published in the 'Journal of Contextual Behavioral Science', statistically combined the results of 174 separate studies that had looked at acceptance and commitment therapy, mindfulness, and emotion regulation.
Russia's own orbital station will consist of three to seven modules unmanned or with a crew of two to four people, Xinhua news agency quoted Vladimir Solovyov, first deputy general designer of Energia, as saying on Thursday.
The study, led by researchers from the University of Exeter in the UK, with an international team including researchers from India and Bangladesh, was conducted as part of the National Geographic Society's "Sea to Source: Ganges" expedition.
Twenty-two faculty members and researchers of Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati (IIT-G) and seven faculty members of Tezpur University are among 1,494 Indian scientists who featured in a list of top 2 per cent of the world scientists.
"Noctiluca blooms are not good for fisheries, because they consume most of the oxygen. They do not allow zooplankton (common fish fodder) to develop, which is important for fish. Without these zooplanktons, the fish will die," Singh said.
