'Yamraaj' will be waiting for those who dare to harass women, businessmen in UP: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath

During a recent election rally in Ghazipur, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath issued a stern warning to those who dare to harass women and businessmen in the state. He emphasized that "Yamraaj" would be waiting for them at the next crossroads. Adityanath highlighted the significant strides made in maintaining security and upholding the rule of law under the BJP-led government in Uttar Pradesh.

“No one can play with the safety of daughters and businessmen. If anyone tries to do so, then ’Yamraaj’ (Hindu god of death) will be found waiting for that person at the next crossroads,” the Uttar Pradesh chief minister said at the rally in Ghazipur.

“We are devotees of Lord Ram and we will not breathe easy till we eliminate sinners,” he said

In his address, Adityanath indirectly referenced the late gangster-politician Mukhtar Ansari, dismissing his claims of lineage and emphasizing the need to eradicate criminal elements. He credited the support of the people for various developmental achievements, including the construction of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya and infrastructure development across the state.

Drawing a sharp contrast with past regimes, Adityanath accused the Congress and Samajwadi Party of compromising national integrity and security, while promoting terrorism and Naxalism. He emphasized the BJP's commitment to governance guided by the principles of the Indian Constitution.

Chief minister said, ”A mafia here calls himself hailing from Brigadier Usman’s family to hide his dark deeds. This is a blatant lie.”

Adityanath also highlighted the transformative initiatives undertaken in various regions, such as the provision of housing and clean drinking water. He criticized previous administrations for neglecting development and allowing criminal elements to flourish.

Referring to ongoing projects such as the Kashi Vishwanath temple corridor in Varanasi, Adityanath underscored the global attention garnered by Uttar Pradesh's cultural heritage sites. He expressed pride in the restoration and redevelopment efforts, ensuring easier access for pilgrims and tourists alike.

Regarding electoral promises made by opposition parties, Adityanath cautioned against policies that could undermine existing reservation structures. He asserted that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the BJP remains committed to inclusive development and preserving India's rich cultural heritage.

As Uttar Pradesh gears up for the seventh phase of polling, Adityanath urged voters to support the BJP for continued progress and security across the state.
