'Wonderful moment of cultural Renaissance': PM Modi at foundation stone laying ceremony of Kalki Dham

During the foundation stone laying ceremony of the Kalki Dham in Sambhal, Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed profound sentiments, remarking that what was once deemed unattainable has now materialized into reality.

In a stirring address, he highlighted the ongoing cultural resurgence, citing notable events such as the inauguration of the Ram temple in Ayodhya, the establishment of another temple in Abu Dhabi, the revitalization of the Kashi Vishwanath temple, and the rejuvenation of Kashi itself.

“This is a wonderful moment of cultural Renaissance where we have witnessed the grand opening of the Ram temple in Ayodhya, another temple in Abu Dhabi, renovation of the Kashi Vishwanath temple and the transformation of Kashi.

“Centres of pilgrimage are being built and alongside medical colleges are also being constructed,” PM Modi said.

Modi underscored the convergence of spiritual and developmental initiatives, noting the simultaneous construction of pilgrimage centers and medical colleges. He emphasized that this period marks both India's cultural reawakening and its developmental strides.

Reflecting on the significance of recent milestones, Modi proclaimed the dawn of a new era since the inauguration of the Ram temple on January 22, heralding the construction of the Kalki temple as a harbinger of future endeavors. The temple, dedicated to the Kalki avatar and featuring shrines for all ten avatars of Lord Vishnu, symbolizes continuity and spiritual evolution.

“January 22 when the Ram temple opened, is the beginning of a new era, new cycle. The Kalki temple is a preparation for the future. It is a temple for Kalki avatar and will have a sanctum sanctorum for all the ten avatars of Lord Vishnu,” he said.

Asserting India's newfound leadership role, Modi celebrated its ascent to the fifth-largest economy globally, alongside ambitious infrastructure projects like Vande Bharat, upcoming bullet trains, and modern expressways. He hailed India as a land of boundless opportunities fueled by collective aspirations.

“We are now the fifth-largest economy in the world. We have Vande Bharat and soon we will have a bullet train along with hi-tech expressways. This is a land of immense possibilities that draws its energy from collectivity,” he said.

Expressing gratitude for the initiative, Modi commended Acharya Pramod Krishnam for championing the cause of Kalki Dham despite enduring obstacles under previous administrations. He lauded Krishnam's perseverance, which culminated in the realization of the temple under the current government's support.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath echoed Modi's sentiments, likening the construction of a Hindu temple in a Muslim country and the Kalki Dham project to be emblematic of a burgeoning New India, radiating hope and promise to the world.
