Zubin posted on his Instagram on Sunday and posted a series of two photographs along the timeline. The first photograph appears to be a recent click. It is of the couple posing in front of the camera. The second photograph is taken by Zubin and shows Smriti in her kitchen.

Zubin himself, who never posts on social media, also wrote a long note in the caption praising his wife's "silent courage" and her refusal to let others define the "foundations of change.".

He posted, "In all the years of watching Smriti guide Indian politics through its maelstrom waters, I've never gone onto social media to talk about her work. This weekend, something changed-not as a person who has marched through the decades beside her, but as a member of this country and part of an actual minority who has watched something remarkable unfold.".

He termed the Waqf Bill passage as a courageous and much-needed move that was overdue.

He added further, "It wasn't merely a legislative win, it was a moment of quiet bravery, spearheaded by someone who has always labored behind the scenes, never in pursuit of headlines, but of justice. And what so few still do not get is that the backbone of the National Education Policy-its vision, its first draft, its very backbone-was also established by her when she was HRD Minister. I watched you, Smriti, not only as a minister, but as an unyielding, tireless force framing two of the most seminal policies of contemporary India. The numerous nights you devoted to reading, writing, re-writing, and holding firm-never for ego, always for the people-remain vividly imprinted on my mind. Your labor was not performance. It was purpose. Smriti has never sought credit. She has stood steadfast in the party's and the Hon'ble Prime Minister's vision-often without cheer, often without notice.Destiny perhaps has yet not granted her the administrative credit many perceive her to deserve. But behind the scenes, she has been the quiet builder of change-brick by brick, policy by policy.".

Zubin said his wife's work has been tireless, amazing, and firmly based on conviction rather than ambition.

"Whereas others craved the limelight, she elected the grind, and in that, she's influenced the very foundations of transformation. Today I want to respect that silence. That grittiness. That relentless commitment to a higher goal. Thank you, Smriti not as one who understands you deeply but as a fellow citizen who saw you bear the weight of change with no whim, no weakening. Yours was never a desire for power but of purpose. What you have left for this nation is politics but also legacy, etched by passion, sacrifice, and integrity, and I hope that someday the world understands what I have quietly watched all along," he added.
