In one unsettling incident in the Dhimni Assembly constituency of Morena district, a person sustained a bullet injury following a scuffle between supporters of two political factions at polling booths 147-148 in Mirghan village.

The electoral battleground in Dhimni witnessed Senior BJP leader and Union Minister Narendra Singh Tomar contesting against sitting Congress MLA Arvind Tomar.

At Sumawali Assembly constituency in Morena district, given the tension, security measures saw all three major parties' candidates—sitting Congress MLA Ajab Singh Kushwah, BJP’s Adal Singh Kasana, and BSP’s Kuldeep Sikarwar—being escorted to the Morena police lines.

Similar incidents of firing and stone pelting surfaced in the adjoining Bhind district, prompting the local administration to confine the candidates of all three major parties as part of security measures.

In Lahar constituency, Senior Congress leader Govind Singh, along with BJP and BSP candidates, remained confined at the circuit house for several hours due to the tense situation.

Moreover, reports indicated that BJP candidate Rakesh Shukla from Mehgaon in Bhind district sustained injuries during a stone-pelting incident near a polling station in Manhad village. The situation remains under investigation, as authorities work to ascertain the exact circumstances surrounding these distressing episodes.
