Prime Minister Narendra Modi celebrated a significant milestone, sharing that the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY) has touched the lives of 11 crore individuals across India in the past 50 days. Emphasizing its goal to transcend geographical barriers, the Yatra aims to ensure that government schemes reach every corner of the nation, ultimately benefiting the last mile.

During a video conference on Monday, the Prime Minister engaged with numerous beneficiaries alongside Union Ministers, MPs, MLAs, and local-level representatives. He expressed how the VBSY has become not just a government journey but a national one, symbolizing the extensive reach of "Modi Ki Guarantee ki Gadi" to every segment of society. The government's proactive approach in providing scheme benefits directly to the doorsteps of deserving individuals signifies a meaningful change for those who previously waited for such opportunities.

PM Modi highlighted the concerted effort of government offices and representatives, actively reaching out to citizens, ensuring effective implementation of schemes. The primary objective of VBSY, as reiterated by the Prime Minister, is to include every deserving beneficiary under the umbrella of government initiatives. He revealed that since the Yatra commenced, there have been 12 lakh new applications for Ujjwala connections and numerous applications for schemes like Suraksha Bima Yojana, Jeevan Jyoti Yojana, and PM SVANidhi.

The Yatra's impact was evident in the health sector, with over 2 crore people receiving health checkups, including 1 crore TB checkups and 22 lakh sickle cell checkups. The Prime Minister highlighted the accessibility of healthcare services, especially for marginalized communities, showcasing a significant shift from previous governance challenges.

Furthermore, PM Modi emphasized Ayushman Yojna's contributions, providing health insurance worth Rs 5 lakhs, free dialysis for the underprivileged, and affordable medicines at Jan Aushadhi Kendras. He underscored the role of Ayushman Aarogya Mandirs in becoming vital health centers for rural areas and the less privileged.

The VBSY, launched on November 15, 2023, aims to transform India into a developed nation by 2047, ensuring the extension of government benefits to every individual in society. This remarkable feat of touching 11 crores holds substantial significance, evident when compared to the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, where BJP received more than 22.9 crore votes nationwide.
