Encouraging a lifelong pursuit of knowledge, Dhankhar drew inspiration from Swami Dayanand Saraswati, underscoring his dedication to social reform and spreading Vedic teachings.
He emphasized the importance of family bonds and respecting elders, expressing dismay at the rise of old-age homes. Dhankhar called upon students to cherish and care for their parents, echoing the sentiment that serving one's parents and elders is akin to serving God.
Urging the youth to prioritize their identity as Indians, Dhankhar questioned how anyone claiming belief in Bharatiyata could undermine the nation's integrity or defame its institutions. He stressed the need for a lasting connection with one's alma mater beyond physical contributions, encouraging students to act as proud ambassadors for their institutions.
Highlighting the youth's role in revolutionizing sectors like agriculture and creating a robust startup ecosystem, Dhankhar envisioned a developed India by 2047. He emphasized the importance of disruptive technologies like AI, IoT, and quantum computing, applauding the government's substantial investments in these areas, foreseeing significant job creation by 2030.
Emphasizing the importance of courage and perseverance, Dhankhar likened a great mind to a parachute that only works when open, urging individuals to execute their ideas with courage.
In his inspiring address, the Vice-President envisioned a bright future for India and encouraged the youth to lead the nation's resurgence through innovation, dedication, and a steadfast commitment to their roots.
