Emphasizing that there is a felt need for continuous reforms so as to achieve new milestones of development and prosperity, Chief Minister Adityanath said, "In the last ten years, a lot of good work has been done pertaining to various kinds of reforms. And under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi, a credible effort is being made to put the economy of India on a global pinnacle—making it the fifth-largest economy in the world."

"As we touch new heights of prosperity, national security must remain a top priority also. Whether it be furthering self-reliance in military and equipment or speeding up decisions for modernization, India now has some of the most advanced fighter planes", he added.
Enumerating the development of the Defence Industrial Corridor in Uttar Pradesh and Tamil Nadu, with investments running into thousands of crores across six nodes in the UP Defence Industrial Corridor, the Chief Minister informed.

He underlined the immense growth that spans Bharat Dynamics Limited's achievements to the future progress in the BrahMos missile program. The Army, too, is rapidly shaping up.

Adityanath said, "Agniveer scheme has been brought to the Indian Army with this vision. There is considerable enthusiasm among the youth for this initiative with 10 lakh Agniveers to get ready as a formidable soldier of the Indian Army.".

He again criticized the opposition and said, "Unfortunately, some political parties are more keen about their self-interests than the nation's interests. They indulge in politics at the cost of the nation, continuously interfere, mislead and make statements against every reform and progress. The opposition is continuously misleading the youth about this issue.".

He assured the UP government would be supportive of providing facilities to them, and recruitment to the UP Police and PAC would also be accorded precedence upon their return.

"We will be benefitted from the trained and disciplined youth as Agniveers. Our government is totally committed to it. We should support Prime Minister Narendra Modi's campaign for military reform, considering its negligence for national security," the Chief Minister said.
