Pralhad Joshi, the BJP candidate for the Dharwad Lok Sabha seat and a Union Minister, has leveled a grave accusation regarding the murder of MCA student Neha Hiremath. According to Joshi, the Karnataka government is implicated in the leaking of photos of Neha Hiremath and Fayaz Kondinkoppa from the accused's mobile device.
Following Neha Hiremath's tragic demise at the hands of Fayaz Kondinkoppa, images of the two individuals circulated widely on social media platforms. Additionally, an Instagram account depicted Neha Hiremath and Fayaz Kondinkoppa in a romantic relationship. The family of the deceased asserted that the incident was a case of love jihad and filed a complaint concerning the creation of the social media profile where the images were posted.
Addressing reporters in Hubballi, Joshi questioned the source of the leaked photos from the accused's mobile, particularly while he was incarcerated, and accused the state government of complicity.
Hubballi witnessed another distressing incident involving the assault of a young woman subsequent to Neha Hiremath's murder. Joshi claimed that the assault occurred when the young woman refused to undergo conversion.
Expressing concern, Joshi highlighted the strength of Hindu organizations and communities in the Hubballi region and raised questions about the situation in other areas if such incidents occur there.
Joshi emphasized the need to oust those engaged in appeasement politics from positions of power, warning that failure to do so would imperil the preservation of Hindu religion and culture in households.
