Union Home Minister Amit Shah Accuses Congress of Furthering Pakistan's Agenda: Maharashtra Rally Highlights

Shah asserted that whenever Prime Minister Narendra Modi took decisive actions like surgical and air strikes or implemented policies like the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA), Rahul Gandhi and the Congress party consistently opposed them. He highlighted instances where Gandhi questioned the government's actions, particularly during operations against terrorists and the implementation of CAA.

During a recent rally aimed at drumming up support for BJP candidate Raosaheb Danve from Jalna LS seat, Union Home Minister Amit Shah launched a scathing attack on Congress MP Rahul Gandhi and his party, accusing them of furthering Pakistan's agenda within India.

Continuing his criticism, Shah blamed the Congress and its allies for stalling the construction of the Ram Mandir for decades. However, he emphasized that under the leadership of PM Modi, the foundation stone of the temple was laid, and the idol of Shri Ram Lalla was ceremonially installed earlier this year.

The Home Minister also targeted Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge, ridiculing his remarks questioning the relevance of Kashmir to Maharashtra. Shah asserted that every citizen of Maharashtra is willing to sacrifice for the integrity of Kashmir and accused the Congress of exploiting Article 370 for political gains. He praised PM Modi for abrogating Article 370, asserting that it integrated Kashmir fully into India.

In a direct jab at Rahul Gandhi, Shah reminded him of his grandmother's promise to eradicate poverty, implying that it was PM Modi who actually fulfilled that promise by bringing development and welfare measures to millions of Indians. He highlighted initiatives like providing free ration, gas cylinders, and tap water to every household, which, according to Shah, brought happiness to 80 crore people in the country.

Shah underlined the fact that the forthcoming elections pose a choice between two camps, one representing corruption and scams to the tune of Rs 12 lakh crore, and the other represented by PM Modi, who has been Chief Minister and Prime Minister for 23 years without a taint of corruption on his image. Shah asked the people to decide carefully whose hands the country should continue to be in, presenting PM Modi as a leader of high integrity and totally committed to the welfare of the nation.
