Union Minister Nityanand Rai's recent Yaduvanshi gathering in Patna sparked a response from Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav, who accused the BJP of attempting to create divisions among Yadavs but asserted their attempts would be futile.
Yadav emphasized the democratic liberty for anyone to pursue their initiatives, acknowledging the BJP's efforts to potentially fracture the Yadav community. However, he expressed confidence that the BJP's endeavors in this direction wouldn't yield the desired outcome, indicating their anticipated failure in dividing the Yadavs.
During the Yaduvanshi meet on November 14, Nityanand Rai, the Minister of State in the Union Ministry of Home Affairs, held the event at Patna's Bapu Sabhagar and directed criticism towards Lalu Prasad, drawing a comparison between him and 'Kans,' while asserting himself as a successor to Krishna.
Rai highlighted Lalu Prasad's governance, associating his 15-year rule in Bihar with making the Yadav caste a "symbol of fear."
Additionally, the central minister took aim at Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, likening him to 'Dushasan' following a controversial statement made by Kumar in the Bihar Assembly during the winter session, particularly focusing on his anti-women remarks.
