Sharad Pawar Opts to Skip Jan 22 Ayodhya Event, Plans to Attend at a Later Date

Nationalist Congress Party President Sharad Pawar has declined an invitation to attend the Shri Ram Temple 'Pran Pratishtha' ceremony scheduled for January 22 in Ayodhya. In a brief letter to Ram Janmabhoomi Tirth Kshetra General Secretary Champat Rai, the 83-year-old Pawar expressed his reverence for Lord Ram, acknowledging the global devotion to the deity.

The NCP supremo emphasized that post the January 22 event, he plans to visit Ayodhya for certain engagements, during which he will allocate sufficient time for a darshan of Shri Ram Lalla with full faith. Pawar also anticipated the completion of the Ram Temple construction by that time.

In concluding his letter, Pawar expressed gratitude for the invitation and extended best wishes for the grand ceremonies scheduled in Ayodhya on January 22. His decision reflects a strategic choice to participate in the celebrations at a later date, ensuring a more contemplative and relaxed experience at the revered site.
