During the two-day BJP office bearers' meeting in the national capital, Union Home Minister Amit Shah emphasized the need for a significant victory in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections and urged party leaders to ensure the grand success of the inauguration of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya.
Sources indicate that Shah stressed the importance of highlighting the government's accomplishments in the run-up to the upcoming elections and securing a resounding victory. He reportedly expressed the goal of achieving such a substantial win that the Opposition would think twice before challenging the party.
Emphasizing the significance of booth-level workers, Shah called for the strengthening of the party organization. He urged party office bearers to encourage public participation in prayers and religious activities across the country to mark the opening of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya. Starting January 1, BJP workers are expected to engage in various activities, including distributing Akshat, organizing special prayers in temples, and lighting lamps.
The meeting also discussed strategies for connecting with new voters, with plans for public meetings, conferences, and a massive campaign to attract new voters. Prime Minister Narendra Modi may address a conference of new voters on Youth Day. The BJP's focus leading up to the 2024 Lok Sabha polls will be on supporting women, the poor, youth, and farmers, with various programs planned.
Additionally, BJP leaders were directed to disseminate information about the government's efforts in the construction of the Ram Temple and to inform the public about the Opposition's actions against it. Party leaders were also encouraged to actively participate in events organized by the RSS and VHP. The meeting highlighted the party's commitment to a comprehensive strategy for the upcoming elections and public engagement.
