Revanth, as CM, Delivers on Promises Made to the People

Shortly after being sworn in as the Chief Minister of Telangana, A Revanth Reddy took swift action by signing two crucial files. The first file pertained to the implementation of six guarantees promised by the Congress party to the people of Telangana. The second file reflected his commitment to fulfilling a campaign promise made to Rajini, a woman with Dwarfism. During the election campaign, Reddy had pledged to provide Rajini with her first government job if the Congress party came to power.

In a special gesture, Rajini was invited to witness the signing of the orders for her government job, and Chief Minister Revanth Reddy personally handed over the documents to her. This move followed Reddy's written assurance to Rajini on October 17, where he committed to making her the first person to receive a government job. Rajini, a postgraduate, had expressed her struggles in securing employment even in private companies.

Fulfilling vacancies in government departments was a key electoral promise by the Congress party. During his address after the swearing-in, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy emphasized that the Congress government would be the people's government, highlighting a servant-leader approach. He acknowledged the sacrifices and determination that led to the formation of Telangana and expressed regret that the dreams of the people had remained unfulfilled in the last decade.

Reddy announced the immediate dismantling of the iron fencing in front of the Chief Minister's official residence, Pragati Bhavan. He further declared the renaming of Pragati Bhavan to Jyotirao Phule Praja Bhavan, demonstrating symbolic changes under the new administration. Revanth Reddy assured the public of regular interactions through Praja Durbar at Praja Bhavan, scheduled for 10 a.m. on Friday.

Pledging to address the problems of the people as a son and brother, Revanth Reddy envisioned the onset of "Indiramma Rajyam" in Telangana, focusing on social justice and inclusive development. He committed to providing justice to students, the unemployed, and the families of martyrs, emphasizing a comprehensive approach to state welfare and development.
