Rebel RJD MLA Attributes Party Defections to Tejashwi Yadav's 'PAs

Anand, who hails from the lineage of the influential 'Bahubali' leader Anand Mohan, directly implicated Tejashwi Yadav's personal aides -- Sanjay Yadav, Manoj Jha, and Preetam Yadav -- in destabilizing the party. He asserted, "The actions of Tejashwi Yadav's three personal assistants have contributed to the erosion of the party's strength. Their influence has led to the departure of several MLAs from the RJD, with more likely to follow suit in the near future."

Following a recent wave of RJD MLAs defecting to the NDA in Bihar, Chetan Anand, a dissenting MLA representing Sheohar, has pointed fingers at three RJD leaders closely associated with Tejashwi Yadav for orchestrating these shifts.

Tejashwi Yadav has appointed Sanjay Yadav and Manoj Jha as Rajya Sabha MPs, while Preetam Yadav, a government official, serves as the personal secretary to the former Deputy Chief Minister.

"Operating within the party, they've established control and hindered the functioning of elected MLAs," Anand alleged. "Numerous MLAs are discontented with their interference and may soon defect from the party."

Adding to the chorus of discontent, Sangita Kumari, the RJD MLA from Mohania who recently switched allegiance to the BJP, lamented her lack of influence within the party despite her Dalit background. "As a Dalit MLA, I found myself unable to even appoint a block president in my own constituency. Despite my efforts to address these grievances within the RJD, they remained unaddressed, compelling me to part ways with the party," she explained.

The exodus continued as RJD MLA Bharat Bind departed from the party on Friday, aligning himself with the BJP camp.
