Ram temple consecration matter of pride for everyone, says Arvind Kejriwal

During a state-level function on the eve of Republic Day, Kejriwal announced his intention to visit Ayodhya with his family to pay respects to Ram Lalla after the ceremony.

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal expressed immense pride and joy over the recent consecration ceremony of the Ram temple in Ayodhya. Emphasizing that the AAP government draws inspiration from 'Ram Rajya', he highlighted the inclusive values of the occasion. Notably, opposition parties from the INDIA bloc had abstained from the January 22 ceremony, accusing the BJP of politicizing the event.

During a state-level function on the eve of Republic Day, Kejriwal announced his intention to visit Ayodhya with his family to pay respects to Ram Lalla after the ceremony. Prime Minister Narendra Modi led the grand event, with Kejriwal commending the joyous celebration worldwide.

Kejriwal pledged to facilitate visits to Ayodhya for Delhi residents through the 'Mukhyamantri Teerth Yatra Yojana'. He underscored the AAP government's commitment to the principles of 'Ram Rajya', focusing on providing quality education, healthcare, free electricity, water supply, and ensuring women's safety.

"The first principle of 'Ram Rajya' is that no one should go to sleep hungry. We are providing ration to the poor and shelter to the homeless," stated Kejriwal. He emphasized the need for societal contributions through hard work, honesty, and patriotism, aligning with Lord Ram's teachings.

Highlighting the government's achievements, Kejriwal mentioned containing price rise, maintaining inflation below the national level, and creating employment opportunities. He asserted that 'Ram Rajya' involves equal opportunities and prosperity for all, criticizing the wealth gap over the past 75 years.

In a veiled critique of the central government, Kejriwal stated that a USD 5 trillion economy is meaningful only if financial benefits reach all citizens. He advocated for a governance system ensuring peaceful coexistence and equal opportunities. Over the last nine years, the Delhi government has provided jobs to 12 lakh youths, aligning with the principles of 'Ram Rajya' emphasized by Kejriwal's administration.
