Rahul Gandhi Foresees Congress Win Bringing 'Prajala Telangana' Golden Era

Expressing his vision on a platform, Rahul Gandhi highlighted, "A Congress triumph will herald the golden age of ‘Prajala Telangana’.

Following the unveiling of the Telangana manifesto by Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, Rahul Gandhi, a key party figure, envisioned a transformative phase termed 'Prajala Telangana' upon their victory in the state.

Expressing his vision on a platform, Rahul Gandhi highlighted, "A Congress triumph will herald the golden age of ‘Prajala Telangana’. The Pragathi Bhavan will transform into the ‘Praja Paalana Bhavan’, fostering an accessible space 24x7 for all. Our Chief Minister and ministers pledge to hold regular 'Praja Darbaars', ensuring swift resolution of public grievances within 72 hours. Come join us in shaping a responsible, transparent, and people-centric 'Prajala Telangana'."

These statements followed Kharge's release of the party's manifesto, which vowed a daily 'praja darbar' at the Chief Minister's official residence. The manifesto promised interest-free crop loans up to Rs 3 lakh, a thorough investigation into irregularities in the Kaleshwaram Lift Irrigation Project and other corruption charges, and the discontinuation of the Dharani portal.

Additionally, the manifesto pledged an encompassing crop insurance scheme for major crops, along with an 'Indiramma' gift of Rs 1,00,000 and 10 grams of gold for Hindu girls, and Rs 1,60,000 for girls from the minority community upon marriage. Financial aid of Rs 12,000 annually to each auto rickshaw driver and social security for unorganized workers were also guaranteed.

The Congress further committed to replacing the Dharani portal with the "Bhumata" portal, assuring justice to all farmers who have faced land rights issues.

Supplementing the previously announced six guarantees and declarations for farmers, youth, Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, backward classes, and minorities made two months earlier, the party's 42-page manifesto titled 'Abhaya Hastam' was unveiled by Kharge in the company of state unit President A. Revanth Reddy, Congress Legislature Party leader Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, and other prominent leaders ahead of the November 30 elections.
