Pro-Pak slogan issue: No question of protecting anyone if FSL report proves allegation, says Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah

"There is no question of protecting those who raised slogans in favour of Pakistan," affirmed the Chief Minister during his interaction with the press at the Vidhana Soudha.

Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on Wednesday asserted that stringent measures would be implemented if the findings from the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) report validate the authenticity of slogans advocating for Pakistan.

"There is no question of protecting those who raised slogans in favour of Pakistan," affirmed the Chief Minister during his interaction with the press at the Vidhana Soudha.

Addressing the media, he emphasized, "Strict action will be taken against whoever shouted slogans against the nation."

Responding to inquiries regarding the incident's occurrence within the premises of Vidhana Soudha, Siddaramaiah questioned the significance of location for those intent on vocalizing such sentiments.

The purported incident reportedly unfolded during the celebratory event honoring Syed Naseer Hussain's election to the Rajya Sabha on Tuesday. In response, the BJP has initiated a statewide demonstration against the occurrence and filed a formal complaint with the police.
