On April 4th, the political fervor in Bihar will be ignited as Prime Minister Narendra Modi kickstarts the election campaign with a rally in Jamui, a district set to cast its votes in the initial phase of the Lok Sabha elections.

"I extend my gratitude to the Prime Minister on behalf of the people of Jamui. With his leadership, we are confident that the NDA will sweep all 40 seats in Bihar, reaching the ambitious goal of 400 plus," Paswan remarked optimistically.

His party is fielding candidates in five constituencies across Bihar, while the BJP is contesting in 17, followed closely by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar's JD(U) with 16 candidates. Additionally, one seat each has been allotted to former chief minister Jitan Ram Manjhi's Hindustani Awam Morcha and ex-Union minister Upendra Kushwaha's Rashtriya Lok Morcha.
