Prime Minister Modi's Address to Farmers in Varanasi: June 18th Event

Set to visit Varanasi on June 18, Prime Minister Narendra Modi may make history when he addresses a conference of farmers in the city. BJP Kashi region chief Dilip Patel said the visit gains greater importance as this will be the first trip of the Prime Minister to Varanasi after the NDA formed government for the third straight time at the Centre.

Varanasi BJP office-bearers are already in consultation with regard to the itinerary for Prime Minister Modi's arrival to be held at the party's office in Gulab Bagh. "After addressing his program en route to the Kisan Sammelan, Prime Minister Modi will pay obeisance at Baba Kashi Vishwanath and then will also witness the Ganga Aarti being performed at the Dashashwamedh Ghat," said Patel.
