Union Minister and Shiv Sena MP Prataprao Jadhav termed that integration of PoK into India, along with the retrieving of land captured by China back in 1962, would have been possible if not the NDA crossing more than 400 seats in the recent Lok Sabha elections. While addressing a program by Mahayuti alliance in Akola, Jadhav said how PM Modi had a deep desire to see PoK as a part of the Indian map since childhood.

Refuting the apprehensions about possible alterations in the Constitution in case of Modi's re-election, Jadhav said that such claims are false propaganda. "The Constitution cannot be changed," he said and added, referring to the 1975 emergency imposed by Indira Gandhi, that was the time when there was actual constitutional crisis in the history of India.
