PM Modi Vows No Mercy for Corruption Following BRS Leader Kavitha's Arrest

Following the apprehension of BRS leader K Kavitha on charges related to money laundering, Prime Minister Narendra Modi took to the stage on Saturday to address the situation. He accused the BRS of forming alliances with other deeply corrupt parties and emphasized that no individual involved in corruption would evade justice.

Modi highlighted how the BRS had extended its influence beyond Telangana by collaborating with other corrupt entities. He pledged to the people of Telangana that his government would not let any corrupt individual escape punishment and urged their support in the fight against corruption.

The Prime Minister did not mince words as he accused both the Congress and the BRS of being deeply entrenched in corruption, describing their collusion as a formidable force within dynastic politics. According to Modi, the Congress was responsible for the infamous 2G scam, while the BRS engaged in corruption in irrigation projects. He also alleged that both parties supported the land mafia.

Modi underlined the significant strides made in poverty alleviation nationwide and stressed the need for similar progress in Telangana.

The arrest of BRS leader K Kavitha by the Enforcement Directorate in Hyderabad concerning a money laundering investigation linked to the Delhi excise policy scam further intensified the political landscape.

Even before the official announcement of the election schedule, Modi expressed confidence in the NDA's prospects, citing widespread anticipation of the coalition surpassing 400 seats in the upcoming elections.
