Never before in the history of Karnataka has the Congress been afraid of defeating the enemy, and the Congress has been bringing terror to the women and girls of this country," Modi said, pointing out the public murder of the young girl, adding, "How daunting, emboldened should a criminal be, when it is allowed by the very party which haggles with this Congress for sins past." He pointed out that the terrorists knew their enemies had changed by saying that unlike earlier, they now knew that such enemies were not in the business of heinous crimes.

In veiled attacks, he said that Pakistan, which exported terrorism earlier, was now bearing the brunt of it, and huge economic challenges like it are bound to face, meaning that India was free to handle terrorism as they wished.

He continued by addressing the issue of national development and the external forces that prefer a weakened India, which might be susceptible to manipulation. According to Modi, the Congress party, prone to corrupt practices, would accommodate such vulnerabilities, whereas the BJP government would staunchly oppose them.

“All the work was done through middlemen. Since 2014, the scenario has changed. The middlemen have shifted their base from Delhi to states. The Congress’ diktat won’t work anymore,”  Modi explained.

Modi used his platform to implore the electorate to continue supporting the BJP, linking their votes directly to his ability to prevent terrorist attacks and enhance national security.

He attributes to himself the lack of bomb blasts, and he also credits the people with preventing ill intentions because they were with him.

He also said that the Congress was against the SC, ST, OBC and women

“The Congress will snatch away your property and distribute it to its vote bank. Who will protect you? Who will stop the loot? Modi will protect you from all this loot,” he declared, positioning himself as a guardian against injustice and corruption.
