Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday asserted that the BJP, independently, will secure a remarkable 370 seats in the imminent Lok Sabha elections.

Addressing a fervent gathering in Madhya Pradesh’s Jhabua, Modi projected a resounding victory for the NDA, anticipating a whopping 400 seats in total.

“I have not come to Jhabua to campaign. The kind of support BJP has received in Madhya Pradesh shows that the people have trust in BJP's double-engine government,” he said.

Taking a swipe at the Congress, Modi accused the party of resorting to divisive tactics, lamenting their reliance on strategies of 'loot and divide' in light of an anticipated defeat.

Citing  recent setbacks in state assembly elections, Modi affirmed the electorate's decisive stance against the Congress, vowing a cleansing of their transgressions post the upcoming Lok Sabha polls.

Emphasizing the BJP's commitment to tribal upliftment, Modi underscored initiatives aimed at restoring rights long denied to tribal communities, particularly through reforms in forest property laws.

During his inaugural visit to Madhya Pradesh in the lead-up to the polls, Modi unveiled a slew of developmental projects, signaling the party's dedication to progress and welfare.

In a symbolic gesture, Modi referenced the appointment of Droupadi Murmu, a tribal, as President, contrasting it with the Congress's purported neglect of tribal interests despite their professed sympathies.
