PM Modi Endorses 'VocalForLocal' Campaign Message of TV actress Rupali Ganguly

Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently shared a video endorsing the 'VocalForLocal' initiative, featuring popular television actress Rupali Ganguly of the 'Anupamaa' series. 

The video showcased Ganguly, along with actor Gaurav Khanna, passionately promoting a diverse range of locally-made products, from confectioneries and lanterns to clothing, mobile phones, and digital payment solutions. Their efforts aimed to shed light on local businesses, concurrently advocating the spirit of 'Atmanirbhar Bharat' (self-reliant India).

In his accompanying post, the Prime Minister lauded the growing momentum behind the 'VocalForLocal' movement nationwide. He emphasized the enthusiastic response from citizens who have been actively supporting the campaign by purchasing locally sourced items. The Prime Minister shared the video to inspire others to follow suit.

Prime Minister Modi expressed his gratitude to the makers of the 'Anupamaa' television series and StarPlus for their role in championing the 'VocalForLocal' cause. Additionally, he urged people to embrace locally-produced goods, opt for digital payments via UPI, share their photos taken with Indian-made smartphones on the NaMo app, promising to repost selected content.

Rupali Ganguly, elated by the Prime Minister's acknowledgment, joyfully exclaimed on social media, "So so so proud, my journey as an actor has taken a remarkable turn. Thank you." Her achievement received a warm reception, with likes and comments from appreciative fans and supporters.
